In many cases, however, a community service scholarship for high school seniors can't be accessed until the senior year of high school. Many students are concerned that they won't find the money to attend college. Many students are concerned that their GPA won't be able to qualify them for a community service scholarship. For high School seniors with at least average grades, good community service can find appropriate funding.

If a senior really wants to attend college, and if that senior spends enough time searching, a student usually can find some funding to help her/him attend college. After the first year, many students have left school. Many students will change majors. Many students discover that their GPA is better or worse than expected. Once a student has proven that he/she can succeed in college level classes, it may be easier to find the money that will allow a student to attend the college of his/her dreams. Some students discover that they enjoy the college they are attending and decide to remain.
